Funding, Bursaries and Tuition Fees
The Government has not yet announced details of the training bursaries for the academic year 2018-2019. These will be published here as soon as they become available.
For the academic year 2018/2019 we will be charging a tuition fee of £9000.00. You may be eligible for a maintenance grant or special support but this will be determined by the Student Loan Company when you make application for your tuition fee loan.
The recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status and achievement of the Post Graduate Certificate in Education award will be withheld from any trainee who fails to honour all monetary debts. The trainee is liable for the relevant course fees whether or not the course is completed.
Will I receive any travel expenses?
No, you will be expected to pay for your own travel costs, but we will make every effort to keep those costs as low as possible by aiming to place you in an appropriate school near to your home address.
